Two psychologists having honest conversations about the human mind — and what it means to actually live it.
We're two licensed psychologists who believe that understanding the mind shouldn't stay locked in the therapy room or academic journal. Each episode, we turn toward the questions people actually ask — about relationships, emotions, identity, and what it means to live well.
No jargon. No lectures. Just two colleagues thinking out loud together.
"Psychology isn't something that happens in a clinic — it's what happens when you're sitting with a friend, feeling stuck, or trying to figure out why you keep making the same choices." — The spirit of Turning Toward
Two psychologists. One conversation at a time.
Liang is a clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma, with a focus on professionals in tech. Before psychology, he spent years as an engineer and management consultant — experience that shapes how he thinks about performance, stress, and the pressures of high-stakes careers. He has worked at Facebook's on-site Wellness Center and speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
David is a licensed psychologist who has been teaching and practicing psychotherapy since 2007. He earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University and works with adults, couples, adolescents, and families. His approach is holistic and research-based, guided by the belief that people can learn to settle, breathe, and reconnect with what matters most.
